Financial SOS for Divorced Women
It’s an alarming statistic: approximately 73% of women experience a 27% drop in their standard of living post-divorce, while most men see an increase. In fact, divorced women with kids are 150 times more likely than others to go bankrupt.

Immediately following divorce, women make financial mistakes that can set them up for poverty, serious financial stress and a feeling of helplessness they fear they can never rise above. Although plenty of books tell women how to find a lawyer and get divorced, and many books tell women how to save money and build a retirement fund, very few (if any) books tackle the immediate financial issues that specifically challenge newly divorced women.

That’s why I’m writing Financial S.O.S. for Divorced Women. As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with 20 years experience in finance and investments, I have the right expertise to provide financial guidance. As a divorcee, I’m creating this book from my own experience and that of divorced women I’ve coached. For women, finances and emotions are intertwined. I offer tips on how to stay strong, healthy and courageous in the face of financial problems stemming from divorce.
